We're searching for a technology-oriented and diligent individual to join our DAO as a member of the Verified Operator Committee (VOC) and its related Verified Operator Program. You'll play an essential role in the ongoing evaluation of verified operators for the SSV network.
Role Description:
A Member of the Verified Operator Committee plays a crucial role in evaluating, selecting, and monitoring verified operators who are entrusted with the task of operating validator shares and maintaining the network's integrity. The member collaborates with other committee members (Circles) to ensure that operators adhere to the highest standards of security, efficiency, and reliability.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Evaluation:
- Assess Applications: Review and assess applications of operators seeking verification, ensuring they meet the predefined criteria.
- Technical Evaluation: Evaluate the technical capabilities, security protocols, and infrastructure of the applying operators.
2. Verification:
- Approval: Approve operators who meet the established standards and criteria.
- Documentation: Ensure all verification documents provided by our KYB/KYC partner are in order.
3. Monitoring:
- Oversight: Monitor the performance of verified operators to ensure adherence to standards. Alert operators when their performance falls below benchmarks, and work with them to remediate.
- Audits: Participate in periodic audits of verified operators.
4. Reporting:
- Analysis: Analyze data and trends related to the performance of verified operators.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports to the network’s governing body and stakeholders.
5. Development:
- Policy Review: Participate in the review and update of policies and criteria for operator verification and operation.
- Tool and Process Development: Design and implement tools and processes to help facilitate the VOC’s tasks and workflow.
