We're searching for a technology-oriented and diligent individual to join our DAO as a Grants Committee member. You'll play an essential role in managing and guiding grant projects that aim to build on the SSV network to decentralize Ethereum staking even further.
What you'll do:
- Evaluate grant proposals and ensure that incoming applications are valuable for growing the network's ecosystem
- Collaborate with the rest of the committee to finalize decisions on grant proposals
- Serve as the go-to person for grantees, addressing inquiries and offering ongoing support
- Keep an eye on each grant's progress and make sure project objectives are met
- Present updates on your assigned projects during GC meetings, keeping everyone informed
- Attend weekly/bi-weekly GC synchronous meetings
Your background:
- A good understanding of the SSV network
- Solid knowledge and experience in Ethereum and the staking ecosystem
- Top-notch communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work closely (and synchronously) with the rest of the committee
- Roll up your sleeve attitude, willingness to do the dirty work
While the main reward of being a GC member comes from the satisfaction and impact of contributing to the program's success, there will also be compensation for your commitment.
By joining our team, you'll be directly involved in shaping the network's growth and achievements, making a meaningful impact on the staking ecosystem.
Grants committee members spend around 24 hours per month contributing to the DAO. This might change at times; please only apply if you have the availability for it.
